Here at the Team Group we are currently recruiting
self employed regional consultants in all areas of the UK. As a self employed regional consultant you will never have to worry about being made redundant; you’ll have the security of a regular income (paid every two weeks direct to your bank account); you will be out and about meeting and dealing with a wide range of local businessmen and women, networking and building your contacts for a worthwhile and sustainable long term business. You can take holidays whenever you like and work when you want. Where clients pay monthly (as with phone numbers; use of our email software, etc) you’ll be earning while holidaying.
As an independent consultant you are free to sell any of our products and services receiving a commission of between 10%-36% (with additional bonuses) on all sales initiated and concluded by you. We will give you a formal consultancy agreement detailing the relationship between you as Consultant, and ourselves as Principal.
We are offering two levels of consultancy – Standard and Premier
As a standard consultant you will receive our full support to help you grow your business. You will have access to a password protected consultant’s website which you can consult for information and ideas for growing your business. You will be invited to take part in online conference calls and meetings during which you can ask questions and exchange thoughts. At least once a year we will hold a one day strategy meeting in Brighton to which you will be invited. Should you wish you will also be able, subject to availability, to purchase subsidised leads from us at a nominal rate (£5-£7.50 lead) which generally speaking will nowhere near cover the cost of their acquisition.
As a premier consultant you will receive all the benefits that a standard consultant gets along with some additional ones thrown in. If you are serious about maximizing your income then you should seriously consider becoming a premier consultant. The additional benefits include:
- A 20% greater commission on our standard rates. Thus if the commission on a particular service is 25%, then you would receive 25% + 20% of that (5%) = 30%. If the commission was 10% then you would earn 12%. If therefore you concluded a sale at £300 and normally earned say £75 commission, you would, as a Premier consultant receive £90. Your extra commission earnings on this single sale will pay the small weekly fee associated with becoming a Premier consultant – and in time you may even qualify for free membership thus saving £65 and getting the higher commission.
- Free business cards. We will provide you with 500 business cards, describing you as a Premier Independent Consultant representing The Team Group.
- Up to four x 15 minute one on one scheduled phone conversations with Group Managing Director, Henry Newrick each month in which you can ask any questions you like, brainstorm ideas or seek advice on how to grow your business. Given that Henry’s time is extremely valuable these calls will need to be pre-booked and may take place sometimes during the evening if convenient to both parties. If time allows the 15 minutes may sometimes extend to 20 minutes or more.
- Leads. Where you are actively involved in building your business we will forward to you free of charge any leads that we receive which are of a ‘local’ nature and which we feel are best followed up locally. These could be for fax or email broadcasting, data sales, incentive vouchers, utility comparisons or anything else that we might be offering. Where free leads are supplied we’ll need to see a reasonable level of conversions.
- Free customer credit checks. Over 90% of our customers pre-pay for the work that we do for them either by credit card, BACS or cheque. A small number of highly credit-worthy customers receive 14 day terms. If you choose to do your own billing (thus setting your own prices) and wish to grant credit, then as a premier consultant we’ll give you up to five free credit checks (worth £75) each month (normally £15 each).
How do I become a Premier Consultant?
First of all we do emphasise that all consultants (both standard and premier) are valued and important team members.
However, if you are really intent on growing your business then you may want to invest a little in it. The founder of the Team Group, Henry Newrick has over the years ploughed tens of thousands of pounds into growing his business and it would not be where it is today without that investment.
To become a Premier Consultant you need to invest just £65 month (£15 week) and commit to paying this for a minimum 6 months by bank standing order or credit card. In return for this you will receive the additional benefits described above, the value of which are far in excess of the £15 week it costs in consultancy ‘dues’. Frankly, it is not so much the £65 that concerns us but it does help to identify consultants who are motivated and ambitious. These are the people that we enjoy working with – and as noted above, the extra commission on a single £300 sale carrying a 25% commission will pay for the weekly fee.
Additionally, when you have achieved monthly gross sales of £6,500 (netting you up to £450 a week in earnings) for three months in a row we will then rebate back to you the Premier Consultant’s fee for the following three months and will only re-instate it if and when your sales drop below £6,500 at any time following the three month ‘free’ period. Then you would need to re-qualify.
Ongoing Commissions & Being an Active Consultant
So long as you continue to be an ‘active’ consultant you will continue to receive full commission on all business that is paid for monthly or quarterly such as telephone line rentals, sign ups to the email self service system, etc. – even though you do no ongoing work or have gone into semi-retirement. So if a business signs up for the self service email system at say £100 month for 2 years, then you’ll receive the appropriate commission every month through the lifetime of the contract – unless you cease to be an active consultant. An active consultant is one who sells at least £250 worth of new business a month in addition to any regular business arising from longer term commitments by clients.
