This is a relatively new area of activity for the Team Group, but nevertheless one that offers huge growth potential. Most businesses these days maintain email lists of customers/prospects. Very few however bother to keep their lists up to date. In not doing this they run the real risk of getting their emails rejected by ISPs if there are a large number of bounces.
Some may argue that it doesn’t matter if there are ‘bounces’ but they are wrong – and in any event marketers who are in the least bit professional will want to know which addresses are good and which are bad so that steps can be taken to update the ‘bad’ ones by either obtaining replacement addresses or deleting if necessary.
Working with an outside organization using highly sophisticated software we are able to test the validity of any email addresses that are submitted to see whether they are (a) genuine and (b) whether they are still working. All of this can be done by sending an electronic signal to the email address concerned, without actually sending an email.
Rates start at £15 per 1,000 email addresses tested and drop down to as little as £2 per 1,000 on very high volumes. We will have a dedicated page on this subject soon appearing on our website and before long we even plan to have an entire website on this very subject. Commission rates start at 25% on lower volumes dropping to 10% on very high volumes where our margin is of course a lot slimmer.
